Dierk Hagedorn

Dierk Hagedorn is an instructor for the long sword at Hammaborg, a club for historical fencing in Hamburg; he is also a passionate wearer of armour. He has transcribed 30 of the approximately 80 surviving fight books in the German language and made them available on the website of his club or published them in book form. Among his numerous publications are editions about the manuscripts by Peter von Danzig, Albrecht Dürer, Lew the Jew, Hans Talhoffer, and Jörg Wilhalm. He works for the IT subsidiary of a large German airline for numerous creative issues such as user experience, interface and corporate design.
