This facsimile is printed on cotton rag paper to simulate the texture and handling of Medieval paper and bound in three massive quires just as the original is, including the tips of the missing leaves. It is bound in tan pigskin, a standard material for German manuscripts, with 9mm boards and blind tooling based on the original cover design. A special edition bound in parchment was also produced.
